Opportunities available:
- Sign the Declaration of Child Rights-Centric Education (Review Declaration here, then Sign here). If possible, please sign before 20th November, 2024
- Attend the INSPIRE Education Summit (18-25 November, Virtual, Free, Register here) organized by RCE Founding Members Jo Symes and Alex O'Neill
- Attend the session "Choosing the ‘Rights’ Direction: Using the UNCRC to Steer Education" by RCE Founding Members Je'anna Clements and Sifaan Zavahir at the INSPIRE summit on 20th November at 12:00 UTC for the launch of the Declaration of Child Rights-Centric Education.
- (For RCE Members only) Support the nomination of RCE Founding Member Wendy Hendrickse for a place on the National Education and Training Committee (NETC) of just 15 advisers to the South African Minister of Basic Education. This is an opportunity for Wendy to advocate for Rights-Centric Education at national level, and can set an important precedent for other countries as well.
